Is Puptastic Adventures insured and bonded?

Yes, we are insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

Is Puptastic Adventures pet care certified?

Yes, Eric and Melissa are pet care certified through Pet Sitters International.

Will my dog be walked with other dogs?

Only if you would like your dog to be paired up with another dog for walks, will your dog participate in Buddy Pack walks.

What is a Buddy Pack walk?

A Buddy Pack walk is a specialized group walk formulated to best fit your dog! We schedule 2-3 dogs between both Eric and Melissa to walk at the same time. This allows us to still provide excellent, individualized attention to your pup and for them to socialize with other dogs!

How can my dog join a Buddy Pack walk?

We organize Buddy Pack walks based on location, schedule, and temperament.

Will my dog be walked off-leash?

Your dog's safety is our number one priority. We primarily walk through quiet neighborhoods, however there are some neighborhoods with no sidewalks or busy traffic. For these reasons we will always have your pup on-leash.

Does Puptastic Adventures board puppies?

Yes! We board dogs as young as 6 months of age, provided they have been vaccinated for Distemper and Rabies at least 2 weeks prior to their stay.

Does Puptastic Adventures board unspayed or unneutered dogs?

No, all dogs must be spayed or neutered.

Does my dog have to be vaccinated for boarding?

Yes, all dogs are required to be vaccinated for Distemper and Rabies at least 2 weeks prior to their stay.

Does my dog have to be current on flea medication for boarding?

Yes, all dogs are required to be current on flea medication.

Does Puptastic Adventures board more than one dog at a time?

We try to only board one dog at a time. However if there is an emergency, we will make an exception for an established dog and we know all dogs will get along.

Does Puptastic Adventures provide pet taxi services?

Yes, we will provide local taxi services for established clients.

What payment methods does Puptastic Adventures use?

We accept Venmo, Zelle, cash, and check.

Are Eric and Melissa certified dog trainers?

At this time, we are not certified dog trainers. However, we do have years of personal experience training our own dogs!

Which days are Puptastic Adventures closed?

We are open 365 days a year! On days with extreme heat or cold, we will try to reschedule your pup's walk to a day or time of day that is safer for your pup.

Is there a charge for a Meet and Greet?

No, there is no charge for your Meet and Greet.

How does Puptastic Adventures schedule walks?

We ask for a 2 hour window minimum for walks. This allows us a bit of wiggle room to account for traffic, on-call requests, and scheduling walks as efficiently as possible. This 2 hour window may be greater or smaller depending on whether you pup is going for an individual walk or a Buddy Pack Walk.
